Anthropomorphic sarcophagus, exuberantly decorated despite some gaps in the covering plaster, especially in the first of the six frontal registers. The registers follow the Abydos iconography. The first depicts Ba-birds, Horus the Avenger and Thoth (?), flanked by the Four Sons of Horus, depicted as nude children. The next register shows the god Osiris seated on a throne, flanked by Isis, Nephthys, Serket and Iusas (?), and also by the deceased and a baboon. Then there is the judgement scene with the weighing of the heart in the presence of Thoth, Anubis, Horus the Avenger, Re-Harakhty and Neith. The next register has a depiction of the deceased's mummy, flanked by Isis and Nephthys, being embalmed by Horus. The fifth register shows the mummy of Osiris flanked by vegetation, two obelisks, Thoth and Iunmutef; the last register shows the Sokar falcon flanked by ba birds and ankh and was signs. At the bottom of the sarcophagus, there is one vertical hieroglyphic inscription surrounded by texts from chapters of the 'Book of the Dead' (extracts from Chapters 38b, 54, 56 and 125). On the head end is a cartouche with a scarab pushing two sun disks, while on the foot end is a running bull (Osiris Apis).
