The Global Egyptian Museum | TR 7/6/24/2, SR 8949

The fragment is divided into two parts by a vertical line. The larger part, on the left side, shows the falcon god Horus on the Serekh, or frame, which encloses the name of King Ahmose the Second. This king had the same name as the founder of the New Kingdom who defeated the Hyksos and liberated Egypt. 

In front of Horus, a pharaoh's head is shown topped by a flag thought to be the emblem of a city. The right side of the stela contains a beautiful rendering of a man, very likely King Ahmose himself.

Ce fragment est divisé en deux parties par une ligne verticale. La plus grande partie, sur la gauche, représente le dieu faucon Horus sur le Serekh, ou cadre, qui contient le nom du roi Ahmes Deux. Ce roi porte le même nom que le fondateur du Nouvel Empire qui vainquit les Hyksos et libéra l'Egypte. 

En face de Horus, une tête de pharaon est représentée surmontée d'un drapeau que l'on pense être l'emblème d'une ville. Le côté droit de la stèle contient une magnifique interprétation d'un homme, très probablement le roi Ahmes lui-même.
