Description
This folding stool from the Eighteenth Dynasty is made from wood and ivory. A leather cushion, which has disintegrated, was meant to cover the seat. The legs, in the shape of duck heads and necks, were made from ivory to emphasize the details of the duck's face. There are two wooden supports between the duck's beaks on which the stool rests.
