The Global Egyptian Museum

The statuette, made of three pieces of painted wood joined together, shows a woman standing in front of two large jars that are used for brewing beer. 

The woman has short hair and wears a short white kilt. She is straining the mash into a vat. It has a spout near the top to allow the fermenting beer to overflow or perhaps to let air into the vat to aid the fermentation process.

Cette statuette, composée de trois morceaux de bois peint rassemblés, représente une femme debout devant deux grands pots qui sont utilisés pour brasser de la bière. 

La femme a les cheveux courts et porte un kilt blanc court. Elle est en train de passer la purée dans une cuve. Un bec situé dans la partie supérieure permet à la bière en fermentation de déborder ou laisse peut-être l'air pénétrer dans la cuve afin de faciliter le processus de fermentation.

والمرأة بشعر قصير ترتدي نقبة بيضاء قصيرة، وتقوم بتصفية الجريش في وعاء ضخم له ميزاب قريب من القمة؛ للسماح للجعة المخمرة من الانسياب، أو ربما للسماح للهواء بالدخول إلى الإناء مما يساعد في عملية التخمر
