This false door stela represents the typology of Herakleopolitan stelae coming from the First Intermediate Period/ Middle Kingdom cemetery. It belonged to a lady called Im. Aside of the central tableau, the stela preserves the eyes through which the deceased looked outside, the semicircular moulding and the Egyptian ogee; all framed by the jambs and two dintels. Jambs and dintels were inscribed with invocation formulae addressed to Osiris and Anubis requesting sustenance in the Hereafter. Some parts of the stela have been restored.
