Shabti in the dress of the living, an overseer

The statuette depicts a male figure wearing a composite wig, an ankle-length kilt and a trapezoid stole. The belt line is curved with a tip of the garment protruding above it. The ears of the figure appear in between the wig's tresses, the lappets of which are very small. The upper body appears triangular. The left arm hangs straight down with the clenched hand drilled and containing a small cloth. The cloth appears as a small ridge next to the kilt. The right arm is curved and holds a flail. The legs are separated by a shallow furrow. The toes are indicated on the feet, which stand on a very low pedestal. The underside of this pedestal is very lopsided, and its back is flat. Many of the details of this shabti have been added in black paint, showing large eyes and brows, a mouth, wig, an extremely long flail, and an inscription.
