On the front surface is a statue of Osiris, "Lord of the Dead," depicted in the form of a mummy wearing the White Crown of Upper Egypt. He holds a flail and the sign of power in his hands and is flanked by two columns of hieroglyphic inscriptions praising him.
On the back pillar are two columns of hieroglyphic inscriptions, reading from right to left: "Dedicated by the priest Neser Amun to Amun," in addition to some prayers for the soul of the priest.
