Description
Funerary cone with hieroglyphic inscription of five horizontal lines and signs facing left. It belonged to Djedher, son of Ankh-Hor and born of Shepensepedet. One of the cone's owner's ancestors was the chief of the Meshwesh, a Libyan ethnic group, who would later become the kings to found the 22nd Dynasty. The cone looks like a small drum. It was found covered with a whitish layer, perhaps due to having been built into the tomb.
