Description
Funerary cone of Menkheperreseneb showing hieroglyphs inscribed in five horizontal lines, separated by narrow stripes. The owner was a high official of the Theban administration: he was in charge of the cattle of the god Amun, apart from being writer and guard. The cone undoubtedly comes from his tomb in Thebes. The impression of the matrix is round and somewhat off center. The trunk is lost completely.
