Petite empreinte de sceau de la forteresse de Chalfak sur la deuxième cataracte. Elle a été apposée sur un papyrus avec un sceau de type scarabée. C'est une preuve de la correspondance que s'échangaient les responsables des établissements égyptiens nubiens. Les rouleaux de papyrus étaient attachés par une cordelette fermée par une scellé.

Small print of seal of the fortress of Shalfak on the second cataract. It was affixed on to a papyrus with a seal of the scarab type, a testimony to the correspodance that was exchanged between the persons in charge of the Egyptian establishments in Nubia. The rolls of papyrus were fastened with a cord closed by a seal.
