Description

This small well-shaped scarab (head, clypeus, prothorax, elytra and serrated legs) was found on the left wrist of the deceased buried in a modest tomb of Mirgissa/Iken. The reverse is carved with a floral motif and a nefer sign ("beautiful, good, perfect").

Au poignet gauche du défunt d'une modeste tombe de Mirgissa/Iken, ce petit scarabée est bien formé (tête, clypeus, prothorax et élytres avec pattes hachurées). Le plat est gravé d'un motif floral, accompagné d'un signe nefer ("beau, bon, parfait").
