Description
The mummified remains of a large serpent, the bandages are loose and discoloured. The mummy lies in a coiled position. Several important deities were represented by the serpent, notably the cobra goddess of the Delta, Wadjet, on the Uraeus, Meretseger, of the Theban Necropolis and Apophis.

Gemummificeerde resten van een grote slang, in losgeraakte en verkleurde windsels. De mummie is opgerold. Verschillende belangrijke godheden werden als slang voorgesteld, te weten de cobragodin van de delta Wadjet, op de uraeus, Meretseger van de Thebaanse necropolis en Apophis.

Die mumifizierten Überreste einer großen, zusammengerollt daliegenden Schlange mit losen und verfärbten Bandagen. Mehrere wichtige Gottheiten wurden als Schlange dargestellt, insbesondere die Kobragöttin des Delta, Wadjit, oder der Uräus Meretseger der thebanischen Nekropole sowie Apophis.
Resti mummificati di un gran serpente. Le fasce risultano attualmente un po' sciolte e scolorite. La mummia è avvolta a spirale. Molte importanti divinità erano rappresentate nella forma di un serpente, specialmente la dea cobra del Delta Uadjet, l'Ureo Meretseger della Necropoli Tebana ed Apopi.
Partes restantes de cobra grande mumificada, com faixas já laças e descoloradas. A múmia encontra-se numa posiçao dobrada. Várias divindades importantes faziam-se representar pela serpente, especialmente a deusa cobra do Delta, Uadjit do ureus, Meretseger, da Necrópole Tebana, e Apófis.
