Description
From the collection of gold accessories found in the tomb of Queen Hetepheres, mother of King Khufu, this sharp knife blade made out of gold was part of the makeup kit of the queen. Taking the form of a panel, it was preserved along with other items from the tomb to be used in the hereafter.

Provenant de la collection d'accessoires en or retrouvés dans la tombe de la reine Hétep-hérès, mère du roi Khoufou, ce couteau à la lame tranchante en or faisait partie de la trousse de maquillage de la reine. En forme de panneau, il fut conservé avec d'autres articles de la tombe afin d'être utilisé dans l'au-delà.
كان مما عثر عليه بين كنوز حتب حرس الذهبية، وهي أم الملك خوفو، تلك الشفرة الحادة من الذهب لزينة الملكة. وهي في شكل لوح، حفظت ضمن أمتعة أخرى في القبر لاستعمالها في الآخرة.
