Description
The statue represents a kneeling man holding an offering table in front of him. He wears a long shirt with wide pursed sleeves and an apron reaching his ankles; on the head there is an elaborate wig with wavy curls and two underlying flaps of larger curls reaching his shoulders. The face is elongated, with the nose with a wide lower part, small distance between the nose and the upper lip and characteristic shape of the mouse. On the shoulders there are cartouches of Rameses III (inscriptions A, B) proving that the statue was made under this king; on the leg of the offering table is a vertical inscription (C), on the back pillar is another vertical column (D).
