Shallow calcite bowl, from a rich burial in the 1st Dynasty cemetery at Tarkhan, between Memphis and the Faiyum. The grave measured 45 by 85 by 70 inches only, but contained a number of stone and pottery vessels, indicating moderately wealthy status.
