The mummiform shabti wears a striated wig and a collar. The arms are crossed right over left. The fists protruding from the sleeves hold no tools. The figure is executed in fine detail. The eyes are in black paint. The inscription is written in horizontal lines running round the body.
(1) The illuminated one, the Osiris, the royal scribe Nesdenemet justified. (2) He says: O, this shabti, if one calls, if one counts off, (3) if one reckons {...} in the necropolis (4) - now indeed, an obstacle has been implanted for him therewith - as a man (5) (is called) at his duty, to make arable the fields, to irri- (6) gate the riparian lands, to transport by boat the sand (7) from the East to the West, to do all the works (8) which are wont to be done there - "here I am, I shall do it", you (9) shall say, like any good deed of yours.
