Description
These fragments of tongues in ebony would have come from the excavations of Tell el-Yahudiya undertaken by W. F. Petrie during the campaign of 1905-1906. They were probably used for the inlaying of pieces of furniture.

Deze fragmenten van ebbehouten plaatjes zouden afkomstig zijn uit de opgravingen van Tell el-Yahoediya ondernomen door W. F. Petrie tijdens de campagne van 1905-1906. Ze dienden waarschijnlijk voor inlegwerk van meubelstukken.
Ces fragments de languettes en ébène proviendraient des fouilles de Tell el-Yahoudiya entreprises par W. F. Petrie lors de la campagne de 1905-1906. Ils servaient vraisemblablement à l'incrustation des pièces de mobilier.
