Description
Small wheel-turned ovoid jar, made of Nile clay with a high percentage of mineral temper. The neck is broad, the mouth has a widened lip. The surface has been polished with a brick-red slip that has disappeared almost everywhere. This vase might be a local imitation of contemporary imports from Upper or Lower Egypt.
