Description
Hemispherical dish of a very simple shape, ending in a rounded lip. Crudely manufactured. The clay is typical of utility wares of the Middle Kerma period: coarse, with a high percentage of organic temper, black, oxidised on the exterior (therefore beige-orange) and polished.

Coupelle hémisphérique de forme très simple terminée par une lèvre arrondie. Elle est grossièrement modelée. La pâte est caractéristique de la poterie utilitaire du Kerma Moyen: grossière avec un fort pourcentage de dégraissant végétal, noire, oxydée sur l'extérieur, donc beige orangé, et lissée.
