Description

Small ovoid jar without a neck, with a simple flared lip, made from an orange silt clay and polished. Probably an Egyptian import found in a Middle Kerma tomb, which attests to commercial exchanges between the two states.

Petite jarre ovoïde, sans col, avec une lèvre simple évasée, en pâte limoneuse orangée et lissée. C'est vraisemblablement une importation égyptienne dans une tombe du Kerma Moyen et qui témoigne des échanges commerciaux entre les deux états.
