Description
This is a piece of fabric entirely made of ochre-coloured linen. The weft is very delicately woven. On the edge, there is a braid of linen to which eight fringes have been attached. These are spaced from each other by 1 or 2 cm. The fringes are made of three strands of linen and their length varies between 2,5 and 8 cm. The longest fringe ends in a knot.

Il s'agit d'un fragment de tissu totalement en lin, de couleur ocre. La trame est très finement tissée. Sur le bord, présence d'une sorte de tresse de lin sur laquelle viennent s'accrocher huit franges, espacées l'une de l'autre de 1 à 2 cm. La longueur des franges, constituées par trois mèches de lin, varie de 2,5 à 8 cm. La frange la plus longue se termine par un noeud.
