Description
Next to the lotus flower, the oriental cornflower was one of the most popular flowers. In art it was rendered both from the side and frontally. This piece was presumably an inlay for a piece of jewellery or a faience stove.

Next to the lotus flower, the oriental cornflower was one of the most popular flowers. In art it was rendered both from the side and frontally. This piece was presumably an inlay for a piece of jewellery or a faience stove.
