Description
Standing falcon with feathers carved like overlapping scales, except for the flight-feathers, the tail and the leg feathers, which are indicated by grooves. The falcon is the sacred animal of the god Horus and therefore also the patron deity of the reigning king.

Staande valk met gebeeldhouwde veren als overlappende schubben, behalve de buitenste vleugelveren, de staartveren en de veren op de poten, die zijn aangegeven door groeven. De valk is het heilige dier van de god Horus en daarom ook de beschermgod van de regerende koning.
Faucon debout dont les plumes ont été sculptées en forme d'écailles qui se chevauchent, à l'exception de celles des ailes, de la queue et des pattes, qui sont rendues par des entailles. Le faucon était l'animal sacré du dieu Horus et, de fait, le divin patron du souverain.
