Description
As a falcon, Horus was the heavenly protector of the reigning king. As early as the dawn of Egyptian history, the falcon was incorporated into the first names of the royal titulary. This Horus falcon is wearing a double crown with uraeus. The feathers are finely engraved. The feet are missing.

Als valk was Horus de hemelse beschermer van de regerende koning. Al aan het begin van de Egyptische geschiedenis werd de valk geïncorporeerd in de eerste namen van de koningstitulatuur. Deze Horus-valk draagt een dubbele kroon met uraeus. De veren zijn fijntjes gegraveerd. De klauwen ontbreken.
Sous les traits d'un faucon, Horus était le protecteur céleste du souverain régnant. Dès les premiers temps de l'histoire égyptienne, le faucon fut incorporé à la titulature royale. Ce faucon porte une couronne double ornée d'un uraeus. Les plumes ont été finement gravées. Les pattes sont perdues.
In Falkengestalt war Horus Himmelsgott und Schützer der regierenden Königs. Schon mit Beginn der dynastischen Zeit nahm man das Abbild des Falken in den ersten Namen der Königstitulatur auf. Dieser Horusfalke trägt eine Doppelkrone mit Uräus. Das Gefieder ist fein graviert. Der untere Teil der Füße fehlt.
