Description
This small vase of black stone, which dates from the Naqada II-III Period, represents a frog. It served as a container of perfume essences. The piece was offered to the Museum in 1910 by Baron E. Empain.

Dit kleine vaasje in zwarte steen, dat dateert uit de Naqada II - III Periode, stelt een kikker voor. Het diende om geparfumeerde extracten in te bewaren. Het stuk is in 1910 door Baron É. Empain geschonken aan het Museum.
Ce petit vase en pierre noire, qui date de la période de Nagada II- III, représente une grenouille. Il servait à contenir des essences parfumées. La pièce a été offerte au Musée en 1910 par le Baron É. Empain.
