Description
A canopic jar lid made from limestone in the form of baboon-headed Hepi. The facial features are well modelled, the muzzle long and the eyes deep-set. The bottom edge is rough and chipped.

Deksel van canopenvaas van kalksteen in de vorm van de baviaankoppige Hepi. De trekken zijn goed gemodelleerd, de snuit is lang en de ogen liggen diep. De onderste rand is ruw en geschilferd.
Couvercle de vase canope en calcaire représentant Hepi à tête de babouin. Les traits faciaux sont habilement modelés. Les lèvres sont proéminentes et les yeux enfoncés. Le bord inférieur, de facture grossière, est corrodé.
Ein Kanopenkrugdeckel aus Kalkstein in Gestalt des pavianköpfigen Hepi. Die Gesichtszüge sind gut modelliert, die Schnauze ist lang und die Augen tiefliegend. Die untere Kante ist rauh und gesplittert.
Coperchio di vaso canopo in calcare, avente la forma di Hepi dalla testa di babbuino. I lineamenti del volto sono ben modellati, il muso è lungo e gli occhi profondi. La parte inferiore risulta invece grezza e spezzata.
Tampa de vaso de vísceras, feita em calcário, com a forma de Hepi com cabeça de babuíno. Os traços faciais estao bem modelados, o focinho é longo e os olhos profundos. A extremidade inferior é bastante rudimentar e encontra-se lascada.
Tapadera de vaso canopo hecho de caliza con forma de Hepi, con cabeza de babuino. Los rasgos faciales están bien modelados, el hocico es largo y los ojos son profundos. El borde inferior es basto y está mellado.
