Description
A wooden comb with one row of teeth, and a ridged back. The Egyptians were particular about personal hygiene and grooming, so combs, tweezers, razors and mirrors are commonly found in tomb equipment.

Houten kam met een rij tanden en een geribbelde rug. De Egyptenaren lieten zich veel gelegen liggen aan persoonlijke hygiëne en verzorging. Kammen, pincetten, scheermessen en spiegels worden daarom vaak in de grafuitrusting aangetroffen.
Peigne en bois muni d'une rangée de dents et d'un dos strié. Les Égyptiens se montraient exigeants quant à l'hygiène personnelle. Avoir une bonne présentation était important. Peignes, pincettes, rasoirs et miroirs ont été découverts en nombre dans le mobilier funéraire.
