Description

A pottery funerary cone. The stamp has four vertical, divided columns of text in shallow relief.

Aardewerken grafkegel met inscriptie. Het zegel bevat vier verticale kolommen tekst in ondiep reliëf, met scheidingen.

Cône funéraire en terre cuite. L'estampe, exécutée en léger relief, consiste en quatre colonnes de texte séparées.

Ein Grabkegel aus Ton. Die Stempelfläche besteht aus vier vertikalen Textkolumnen mit Zeilentrennern in flachem Relief.

Cono funerario in terracotta. Lo stampo presenta quattro colonne verticali suddivise di testo in basso rilievo.

Cone funerário em cerâmica. O selo apresenta quatro colunas verticais de texto, em baixo relevo.

Cono funerario de cerámica. El estampillado lleva cuatro columnas de texto divididas en relieve poco profundo.

Provenance: 
Probably Thebes.

Preservation: 
The top is missing and there is some salt damage.
There are the imprints of fingers and a thumb on the cone, where the potter held it when still soft, in his left hand.
