Description
Storage jars were usually sealed with mud cones, but separate bell-shaped lids were produced for wine-jars in some periods. In other instances small dishes were reused as stoppers.

Voorraadkruiken werden gewoonlijk verzegeld met lemen kegels, maar voor wijnkruiken werden in sommige perioden afzonderlijke klokvormige deksels gemaakt. In andere gevallen werden kleine schoteltjes hergebruikt als stop.
Les jarres de stockage étaient habituellement scellées à l'aide d'un bouchon conique de terre crue, mais des couvercles séparés, en forme de cloche, furent fabriqués pour les jarres à vin pendant certaines périodes. Dans d'autres cas, de petites coupelles étaient réutilisées comme bouchons.
Vorratskrüge wurden gewöhnlich mit Schlammpfropfen verschlossen, aber zu verschiedenen Zeiten wurden separate glockenförmige Deckel für Weinkrüge hergestellt. Manchmal wurden auch kleine Schalen als Verschluß wiederverwendet.
