الوصف

ناووس، بناه الملك أماسيس الثاني وأهداه للمعبود نيث. وسطح الناووس خشن، ولا توجد نقوش جدارية على أي من السطحين الداخلي أو الخارجي. وقمة الناووس مستديرة، والمدخل مزين بإفريز فوق قرص شمس كبير مجنح؛ بين صلي أفعى ملكي. 

وتقدم الكتابات الهيروغليفية على جانبي المدخل قائمة بالاسم الحوري واسم التاج للملك؛ بين العلامة التي ترمز إلى السماء على القمة، وخط رأسي يمثل الأرض عند القاع.

This naos, built by King Amasis the Second in Memphis, was dedicated to goddess Neith. Its surface is rough and there are no traces of reliefs on either the inner or outer walls. The naos top is round and the entrance is decorated with a cornice over a large winged sun disk between two uraei, or royal cobras. 

Hieroglyphics on each side of the entrance list the Horus name and the throne name of the king in between the sign for sky at the top, and a vertical line representing earth at the bottom.

Ce naos, construit par le roi Amasis Deux à Memphis, fut dédié à la déesse Neith. Sa surface est brute et il n'y a pas de traces de reliefs sur les parois internes ou externes. Le dessus de ce naos est rond et l'entrée est ornée d'une corniche sur un grand disque solaire ailé entre deux uraei, cobra royal. 

Des hiéroglyphes de chaque côté de l'entrée répertorient le nom de Horus et le nom de trône du roi parmi le signe du ciel en haut et une ligne verticale représentant la terre en bas.
