Description
The upper surface of this wooden footstool is divided into two squares. Each square consists of wooden slats. Footstools were commonly decorated with scenes of the nine bows, representing the nine traditional foes of Egypt. Representing them under the king's feet showed that the king had complete control over his enemies.

La surface supérieure de ce tabouret est divisée en deux carrés composés de lattes en bois. Les tabourets étaient souvent décorés de scènes représentant les neufs arcs. Ces derniers symbolisaient les neufs ennemis traditionnels de l'Egypte. Placer des images des ennemis sous les pieds du roi montre que ce dernier les dominait.
ينقسم السطح العلوى لهذا المسند الخشبى للقدم إلى مربعين. ويتكون كل مربع من شرائح خشبية. وكانت مساند الأقدام تزين عادة بمناظر للأقواس التسعة التى تمثل الأعداء التسعة التقليديين لمصر. وتصويرهم تحت أقدام الملك كان يعنى أنه يسيطر عليهم سيطرة كاملة.
