Description
When it was found among the mummy's hair, this gold armlet of Ahhotep was thought to be a crown. Because of its diameter, however, it is certain that it was to be worn round the arm for protection. It is inlaid with lapis lazuli and carnelian and decorated with vaulture of gold and inlays bearing the names of Ahmose.

Lorsque ce bracelet en or de la reine Ahhotep fut retrouvé dans les cheveux de la momie, on pensa d'abord qu'il s'agissait d'une couronne. Toutefois, vu son diamètre, il est certain qu'il devait être porté autour du bras en tant que symbole de protection. Orné du vauture en or portant les noms d'Ahmes, ce bracelet est incrusté de lapis-lazuli et de cornaline.
عندما عثر على هذا السوار الذهبى الخاص بالملكة اح-حتب بين شعر المومياء، كان هناك اعتقاد أنه تاج. إلا أنه نظراً لحجمه، فإنه من المؤكد أنه كان يلبس حول الساعد للحماية. وهو مطعم باللازورد والعقيق الأحمر ومزين بأشكال من الذهب المطعم لأنثى العقاب تحمل أسماء أحمس.
