Description
The god Osiris is wrapped as a mummy with outstretched wings instead of arms. Wings are symbols of protection for the deceased, for whom Osiris is the guardian. He is wearing his typical crown, the Atef. The crown consists of the White Crown of Upper Egypt flanked by two plumes. The forehead is protected by the uraeus, the royal cobra guardian of kingship. The statuette's features have been damaged.
