The anthropoid coffin belonging to Ditamunpaseneb, wife of Namenkhamen, a lector-priest of the Theban necropolis, and daughter of Yufa, a wab-priest of Amun. The coffin is made from sycamore wood, coated with painted gesso and covered with inscriptions, mostly from the Book of the Dead. On the top of the head is a kneeling figure of the goddess Nephthys, with wings outstretched. On the chest is the goddess Nut, also with outstretched wings, who kneels above a scene showing the mummy of Ditamunpaseneb on its funeral bier, under which are the four canopic jars. The sides of the coffin bear figures of lesser gods and spirits who also protect the deceased, around the feet are 'ankh' and 'was' symbols.
