Stela in Sinai sandstone showing a man named Hori praying to Hathor. The hieroglyphic inscription between the goddess and her worshipper invokes 'Hathor lady of turquoise' 'that she may give life and sharp sight' to Hori. Members of Egyptian expeditions would pray for sharp sight to help them detect turquoise and copper ore in the mountainous Sinai desert.
