Painted milk jar with two breast-spouts, rim impressed with cord, and with white banded painted decoration. Although rare, breasted jars are found in the 2nd Intermediate Period and early 18th Dynasty. The form and the decoration are typical of Upper Egypt. This example was excavated at Abydos as part of the burial goods of a relatively wealthy burial.
