Statue of the god Bes

The figure shows Bes with deformed legs, a jester's face and the highly stylized tresses of his beard. His upper body is covered with the skin of a wildcat complete with its head. Both the god's hands are placed on his thighs. Beneath the navel a girdle is indicated.
