Description

Good quality small oval-shaped vase. The neck is narrow, the lip flared and rounded. The clay is fine, buff-coloured and compact, with an organic temper, but relatively friable. It had been covered with a red ochre slip, polished and burnished (vertically polished with a hard object). Several concentric stripes adorn the neck and the shoulder, the first three being very noticeable.

Petit vase ovoïde de belle qualité. Le col est étroit, la lèvre évasée et arrondie. La pâte est fine, chamois, compacte avec dégraissant végétal, mais assez friable. Elle a été recouverte d'un engobe ocre rouge et polie et brunie, c'est-à-dire polie verticalement avec un outil dur. Plusieurs stries concentriques décorent le col et l'épaule, les trois premières bien marquées.
