Description

Small needle with a round cross-section, short and curved in shape with a wide and flat eye and a tapered tip. Like 
L 2316, this object was found in a tomb, beside the deceased's body, in this particular case on the shroud and in front of the legs. It is therefore impossible to ascertain whether this object was a tool or a pin used to hold fabrics together.

Aiguille de petite taille, courte et de forme courbe, au chas large et plat, de section ronde et à la pointe effilée. Comme l'objet L 2316, il a été trouvé, dans une sépulture, le long du corps inhumé, dans ce cas sur le linceul et devant les jambes. Il est donc impossible de savoir s'il s'agit d'un outil ou d'une épingle qui attachait les tissus.
