Description

Globular vase with a spherical body, tall and flared neck and a double beaded lip.  The clay is fine (Nile mud with a fine chaff temper) and has been polished. The red colour of the body has greatly worn off due to usage, whereas the black rim still bears its shine.

Vase globulaire dont la panse est sphérique, le col haut et évasé pourvu d'une lèvre à double bourrelet. La pate est fine, polie, de l'argile du Nil avec un dégraissant végétal haché fin. La panse est rouge, mais fortement usée, tandis que le bord, noir, a gardé son polissage.
