Lovely vase with an ovoid body, flaring out at the neck like the corolla of a flower. The common, buff-coloured clay with its high percentage of mica is representative of this type of  production. The vessel has been polished and the rim decorated with a band painted in red ochre (there are a few drops on the neck). Generally, this kind of ceramic vessel, which is known as "golden ware", is covered with a golden slip and decorated with motifs painted in red ochre. It is known mostly in the Second Cataract region, but a few Classic Kerma potters (further south) borrowed this technique.

Joli vase à la panse ovoïde s'évasant en corolle après le col. La pâte commune, chamois, est néanmoins caractéristique de cette production par son fort pourcentage de mica. Le vase est lissé, le bord décoré d'une bande peinte avec de l'ocre rouge, ainsi que quelques gouttes sur le col. Le plus souvent cette céramique appelée "golden ware" est entièrement couverte d'un engobe doré et décorée de motifs à l'ocre rouge. Elle est connue principalement dans la région de la deuxième cataracte. Quelques potiers du Kerma Classique ont repris cette technique plus au sud.
