Very crude example of a ''tulip'' vase. The wide thick base is flattened and very worn. The cylindrical body has a flared tapered lip. The clay is fine, shiny and red with black rim. The traditional white band has here been reduced to a few irregular white patches. This vessel was part of a deposit placed beneath the bed of the deceased, near its head, and was held up with pebbles.

Exemplaire grossier d'un vase "tulipe". Le large fond, épais et aplati, était usé. Le corps du vase est cylindrique et terminé par une lèvre évasée effilée. La pâte est fine, lustrée, rouge à bord noir. La bande blanche est ici réduite à quelques tâches blanchâtres et irrégulières. Ce vase faisait partie d'un dépôt de vases maintenus par des galets, placés sous le lit, à la tête du mort.
