Description
Sherd of a bowl reminiscent of a C-Group vessel and possibly an import-product. It was made of a fine black clay that was polished on the outside, burnished on the inside. Only the exterior wall is fully oxidised: it is red-orange on the surface. The bowl was hemispherical with a tapered inverted lip. The body is covered with cross-hatching and grey concentric rectangles and the lip is emphasised by an impressed line.
