Description
Lovely elongated, oval-shaped jar, with a wide mouth, flat lip and a slightly concave neck. The clay is fine but common, orange and polished. As often, a line has been impressed on the neck. Despite polishing, throwing marks are still quite visible on the lower section. This model is well know and wide spread during the New Kingdom, particularly in burials where it was sometimes used as an ewer.
