This bowl in clay comes from the excavations of F. Griffith at Faras in 1910. The decoration, which is composed of ivy leaves, seems to have a Greek origin. The piece dates from the 1st or 2nd century of our era.

Deze kom in klei is afkomstig uit de opgravingen van F. Griffith te Faras in 1910. De versiering, die opgebouwd is uit klimopbladeren, lijkt van Griekse afkomst te zijn. Het stuk dateert uit de 1e of 2e eeuw van onze tijdrekening.
Ce bol en argile provient des fouilles de F. Griffith à Faras en 1910. Le décor, qui se compose de feuilles de lierre, semble avoir une origine grecque. La pièce date du Ier ou du IIe siècle de notre ère.
