Description
The remains of the wooden Ka-statue of Ta-iri, a lector-priest. His name and titles are carved on the front panel, on his stylised kilt. The figure is the work of a master craftsman,the torso is well carved with finely detailed muscle definition.

De overblijfselen van het houten Ka-beeld van Ta-iri, een voorleespriester. Zijn naam en titels zijn gebeeldhouwd op het voorpaneel, op zijn gestileerde rok. De figuur is het werk van een vakman; de torso is uitstekend vormgegeven met fijn gedetailleerde spieren.
Fragments d'une statue-Ka en bois du prêtre-lecteur Ta-iri. Son nom et ses titres sont gravés sur le pan avant, sur le pagne. Il s'agit du travail d'un maître sculpteur, le torse étant bien sculpté avec le souci du détail, particulièrement pour la musculature.
Überreste einer hölzernen Ka-Statue des Ta-iri, eines Vorlesepriesters. Sein Name und seine Titel sind auf dem Zierstreifen auf der Vorderseite seines stilisierten Schurzes eingraviert. Die Figur ist das Werk eines Meisters, der Torso ist sauber herausgearbeitet mit fein detaillierter Angabe der Muskeln.
