Description
A block statuette of the Embalmer Ipu, who is shown seated on the ground, knees raised to his chin and his hands crossed. Figures of Osiris, Isis and Horus are carved on the panel in front of his legs and on each side is further text, the left side is damaged. A plinth runs along the back of the figure, also inscribed with an offering formula.

Blokbeeldje van de balsemer Ipoe, die afgebeeld is terwijl hij op de grond zit met zijn knieën tot de kin opgetrokken en de handen gevouwen. Op het paneel voor zijn benen staan Osiris, Isis en Horus afgebeeld en op de beide zijden staat tekst. De linkerzijde is beschadigd. Langs de rug van de figuur loopt een rugpilaar waarop eveneens een offerformule is gegraveerd.
Statuette-cube de l'embaumeur Ipou, assis par terre, les jambes relevées devant lui jusqu'au menton, les mains croisées. Des représentations d'Osiris, d'Isis et d'Horus sont gravées sur le devant des jambes et, de chaque côté, figure un texte. Celui de gauche est endommagé. Une formule d'offrande est inscrite sur le pilier dorsal de la statuette.
Der kleine Würfelhocker des Einbalsamierers Ipu, der mit hochgezogenen Knien und gekreuzten Armen auf dem Boden hockt. Figuren von Osiris, Isis und Horus sind in die Fläche vor seinen Beinen reliefiert, und an beiden Seiten befinden sich Texte; die linke Seite ist beschädigt. Die Figur besitzt einen Rückenpfeiler, der ebenfalls mit einer Opferformel beschriftet ist.
Statuetta a blocco dell'imbalsamatore Ipu, che è rappresentato seduto a terra, con le ginocchia alzate fino al mento e le mani incrociate. Le figure di Osiride, Iside ed Horo sono intagliate sul quadro posto davanti alle sue gambe. Sui lati vi sono ulteriori righe di testo; la parte sinistra è danneggiata. Una colonna, iscritta con una formula d'offerta, è situata sulla parte posteriore della figura.
Estatueta em bloco, do Embalsamador Ipu, sentado no chao, com os joelhos junto ao queixo e as maos cruzadas. As figuras de Osíris, Isis e Hórus surgem gravadas no painel, na parte da frente das pernas, e com mais texto nos lados, o lado esquerdo encontra-se deteriorado. Apresenta plinto ao longo da parte traseira da figura, inscrito com fórmula de oferenda.
Estatuilla bloque del Embalsamador Ipu, que aparece sentado en el suelo, con las rodillas junto a la barbilla y los brazos cruzados. Figuras de Osiris, Isis y Horus aparecen grabadas en el panel frontal delante de sus piernas; en los laterales hay más texto; pero el izquierdo está dañado. En la parte trasera de la figura hay un plinto inscrito con una fórmula de ofrendas.

Plinth: An offering which the king gives [to] Anubis, Lord of the Sacred Land, that he may give invocation offerings for the Ka of the embalmer, Ipu, true of voice. Side: A boon which the king gives [to] Osiris-Wennefer, Lord of Eternity, Ruler forever, that he may give invocation offerings of bread and beer, oxen and fowl, libations, wine, milk and every good and pure thing on which a god lives (?) for the Ka of the greatly favoured one, beloved of his Lord, the embalmer, Ipu, true of voice.

General Comment
Preservation: The statue was destroyed during the war but was damaged before. The left-hand side of the upper part and a portion of the lower front part were broken off. The limestone was described as being in a "very powdery condition".
