Description
A large statuette of the god Osiris, made from bronze. The god is in characteristic pose, standing and mummiform, clasping the crook and flagellum. The eyes are inlaid, lending a startling aspect to the figure, and there are traces of gilt on the crown and face. On the crown are slits for the insertion of horns and feathers to make up the atef-crown, now missing.

Groot bronzen beeldje van de god Osiris in zijn karakteristieke pose, staand en mummiform, met kromstaf en flagellum. De ogen zijn ingelegd en verlenen de figuur een verrassend aspect. Op kroon en gezicht zijn nog sporen van verguldsel zichtbaar. Op de kroon zijn sleuven aangebracht voor de bevestiging van horens en veren, onderdelen van de verloren gegane atef-kroon.
Grande statuette du dieu Osiris en bronze. Il est figuré debout et momiforme, dans son attitude traditionnelle, tenant la crosse et le flagellum. Les yeux incrustés rendent la figure effrayante. Des traces de dorure sont encore visibles sur la couronne et la face. Cette couronne comporte des fentes pour permettre l'insertion des cornes et des plumes aujourd'hui perdues. L'ensemble formait la couronne-atef.
Eine große Bronzestatuette des Gottes Osiris. Der stehende, wie üblich mumiengestaltige Gott hält Krummstab und Wedel. Die Augen sind eingelegt, was dem Gesicht der Figur eine erstaunliche Lebendigkeit verleiht, und auf Krone und Gesicht sind Reste von Vergoldung zu erkennen. An der Krone sind Schlitze zur Befestigung von Hörnern und Federn angebracht, aus denen die jetzt fehlende Atefkrone bestand.
Grande statuetta del dio Osiride, in bronzo. Il dio è raffigurato nella posa caratteristica, stante e mummiforme e tiene il pastorale ed il flagello. Gli occhi sono intarsiati e conferiscono un aspetto di meraviglia alla figura. Vi sono tracce di doratura sulla corona e sulla faccia. Sulla corona vi sono dei tagli per inserire le corna e le piume della corona atef che è ora andata perduta.
Estatueta grande do deus Osíris, feita em bronze. O deus surge na sua pose característica, de pé, mumificado e segurando o bastao e o flagelo. Os olhos sao embutidos, conferindo um certo aspecto assustador à figura, com vestígios de douragem na coroa e face. A coroa apresenta ranhuras para a inserçao de cornamenta e penas, para fazer referência à coroa-atef, hoje perdida.
Una gran estatuilla del dios Osiris hecha de bronce. El dios está en su pose característica, de pie y momiforme, agarrando el cayado y el flagelo. Los ojos están inscrustados, lo que le da un aspecto llamativo a la figura; hay restos de dorado en la corona y el rostro. En la corona hay hendiduras para insertar los cuernos y las plumas de la corona-atef, que ha desaparecido.
