A <!-->nut from the prolific Dom palm tree (Hyphaene thebaica), stated in the original records to have been found in an ancient tomb. Such fruits were grown by the Egyptians as part of the daily diet, and as such were invariably found as tomb offerings for the deceased.

Noot van de vruchtbare dompalm (Hyphaene thebaica), die volgens de oorspronkelijke aantekeningen in een oud graf is gevonden. Deze noten hoorden tot het dagelijkse dieet van de Egyptenaren en maken daarom vaak deel uit van de grafoffers voor de overledene.
Fruit du prolifique palmier-doum (Hyphoene thebaica). Les rapports originaux racontent qu'il a été découvert dans une tombe ancienne. Ces fruits étaient quotidiennement consommés par les Égyptiens. On en déposait immanquablement dans les tombes en tant qu'offrandes funéraires destinées aux défunts.
