Description
An uraeus with sun-disk, well carved from wood. It bears traces of gesso, white paint and a very small patch of finely worked gold scales. It was possibly part of a decorative frieze on a shrine or chest, a peg at the bottom was clearly for attachment.

Uraeus met zonneschijf, kundig uitgesneden uit hout. Het draagt sporen van pleisterwerk, witte verf en fraai bewerkte gouden schubben. Mogelijk vormde het een onderdeel van het decoratieve fries van een schrijn of kist. De pin aan de onderzijde diende duidelijk ter bevestiging.
Uraeus et disque solaire sculptés dans le bois. L'objet comporte des traces de plâtre, de peinture blanche et une très petite feuille d'or finement travaillée. Cet uraeus provient peut-être d'une frise qui décorait une chapelle ou un coffre. Il comporte une cheville permettant la fixation.
Ein schön aus Holz geschnitzter Uräus mit Sonnenscheibe. Er trägt Spuren von Stuck, weißer Farbe und einen kleinen Fleck fein gearbeiteter Goldschuppen. Es handelt sich möglicherweise um einen Teil des Schmuckfrieses von einem Schrein oder Kasten; ein Zapfen an der Unterseite diente sicherlich zur Befestigung.
Ureo con il disco del sole, ben intagliato in legno. L'oggetto porta tracce di gesso, colore bianco ed una parte finemente lavorata di bilance in oro. Probabilmente faceva parte del fregio di un tempio o di una cassa. La figura presenta una vite nella parte inferiore per poter appendere l'oggetto.
Ureus com disco-solar, em madeira excelentemente esculpida. Apresenta vestígios de gesso, tinta branca e pequena parte de pratos de balança dourados, minuciosamente trabalhados. Fazia, possívelmente, parte de friso decorativo em santuário ou cofre, com cavilha na parte inferior, claramente para afixaçao.
Un uraeus con disco solar, bien tallado en madera. Presenta restos de yeso, pintura blanca y un muy pequeño resto de escamas de oro magníficamente trabajadas. Posiblemente formara parte de un friso decorativo sobre un santuario o un cofre; es evidente que la clavija de la base era para unirla a algo.
